The Certified Federal Benefit Specialist℠ (CFBS) Designation Course was designed to provide the most comprehensive training and continuing education in federal benefits. Every advisor nationwide with Federal Employees Retirement Services is a certified professional and can demonstrate their competence and knowledge of federal employee retirement systems and related benefits.

To obtain and maintain the CFBS℠ certification, individuals are required to demonstrate a commitment to high standards, continuing education, professional ethics, and trust.

The CFBS Designation Course curriculum is based upon rigorous research of the most current information available under the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM.gov) guidelines and regulations.

Federal Employees Retirement Services is a registered “Verified Vendor” for the Federal Government. Federal contractor status can be verified using CAGE code or DUNS code on the System for Award Management website
